Serra do espinhaço will be the place for the most expeditionary mountain bike race in Brazil, where inhospitable and virgin trails predominate, deserted places, mountains as far as the eye can see and incredible diversity. The region includes numerous trails, canyons, valleys and waterfalls that will make the competitors happy. In addition, the city has a very efficient structure in terms of tourism with several inns, receptives, restaurants, services and an airport nearby.
The route will be approximately 400 km in total, covering stretches of Serra do Espinhaço. The race will last 5 days with an itinerant feature. The competition is run in double in the following categories: OPEN (2 men), FEMALE (2 women), MIXED (1 man and 1 woman), MASTER 30 (2 competitors of any sex, 30 years old or more), GRANDMASTER 40 (2 competitors of any sex aged 40 or over) and GRANDMASTER 50 (2 competitors of any gender aged 50 or over). The CORPORATE category composed of 3 athletes. Another novelty will be the E-MTB category that will be played individually between men and women.  You can also participate alone. We will have enrollments in SOLO MEN and SOLO WOMEN, however, they will not have classification with award, only the accounting of time. Brasil Ride Espinhaço was born with characteristics similar to the largest premium mountain bike stage race, Brasil Ride Ultramathon, with UCI (International Cycling Union) label counting points for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
